Big Screen SpeedRacer?

Did I dream this or are they really going to be shooting a big screen version of SpeedRacer? And if so, will it be live action (yuck) or anime?

It would be interesting if they do something with Speedracer. I used to stop everything I was doing and run to the TV to catch an episode. I loved it and my friends too.

That would have to do a live action type of movie. Cartoon look doesn't work that that type of movie.

Well, count me out then. I have yet to see a live version of anything work as well as a cartoon. Drats!

Speed Racer movie really haven't heard of that. Well that should be pretty good... if they do it right.

My son loves Speed Racer. I watched it with him once and truthfully I'm not a big fan, but it makes him happy and that's what counts.

In the end, with every show, book, movie, etc., it's really only about what you like and nobody else.

I hope that Speed Racer is anime.........live action sort of sucks-I wathed Sailor Moon live action not a while ago and I wasn't really impressed........actually, I couldn't really stop laughing because it seems way too different from the anime...
