Well, I'm having trouble trying to figure out what anime to watch. I know there are a lot out there, so I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Post ones that you like, what they're about, and I'll get back to you. =3

Cowboy Bebop.

Or you can watch Naruto or Bleach on Adult Swim now.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

I liked Samurai Champloo, Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex, and Cowboy Bebop. Trigun was alright too.

What sort of anime are you looking for? Like...what genre? Anime is more of an artform than a genre in itself so it's kind of vague to use the blanket term 'anime'.

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

Well, I don't mind the genre, really. I'll probably know when I watch it or hear the description.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. =3

You. Must. Watch. Neon Genesis Evangelion. Period.
Also, Ghost in the Shell is necessary as well. As in the original movie and the two series that have nearly nothing to do with it.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

Movie 3 for GITS is coming out soon, right? I hear it will have the storyline from the series as well.

I don't like Anime, but I have really enjoyed the Cowboy Bebop series. I also liked this one detective series, but I forget what its called.

Anyways, those are good.

Its not who a person is in the inside, but what he does that defines him.

Classics = Cowboy Bebop, FLCL (How could no one suggest this yet?), GITS, Full Metal Alchemist

"I also liked this one detective series"
I believe you're talking about Case Closed (The one with Conan the dective), I would highly suggest case closed, great series, pretty smart storylines and all around fun to watch.

I was in Spain for vacation and one night very late they were showing some Anime. Don't know the name, since I am not really familiar with it, but this was really XXX rated! I felt uncomfortable watching this stuff!

You know, I've always enjoyed Samurai Jack, and the animated Star Wars (done by the same guys).

It was a mixture of darkness, comedy, bizzare visuals and some serious moments... all uber-stylish.

The AniMatrix is another must-see, and the different animation styles are a joy to watch.

Sealab is another, off Adult Swim... the newer ones are a bit cack, but the first couple of series were gems. My favourite episdoe without a doubt is when the crew meet their Bizzaro counterparts... classic!

That is one of my nephews favorites, Inuyasha and there is another one with a magic cat, I think the kid's name is Novita, or something that sounds like it. But I know the cat plays an important part.

you should try to watch
1. Scrapped Princess (I love that show even though it made me cry a lot)
2. Inuyasha (awesome show, but I'm a girl, so who knows???)
3. Samurai Champloo (it's really interesting)
4. Full Metal Alchemist is also good
you could look for anime on http://www.animenfo.com - it gives you shows, genres and descriptions
