I saw a hands on preview in EGM, and while they said that it was fantastic, it looked identical to Halo 2. It does have a few new weapons..

And human catapults 0_o

Yes. The article said that there are HUMAN CATAPULTS, which players can use to launch themselves, enemies, or allies across the map.

But there are a few cool looking weapons, and many of the features that people asked for back from Halo 1 will be returning.

I downloaded the E3 preview trailer and its does look like a typical Halo game with a movie'esk type feeling to it.

By the "human catapult" do you guys mean the laser sword/rocket laucher (I can't remember which weapon it was) bug from Halo2?

I think it is a new thing. Like the jump pads from other games to launch people long distances.

Yeah, it is basically a jump pad. There are also some other cool things, but you will have to go to the site to check them out.

Go to egm210.1up.com and they have all kinds of good information on it.
