The Grand List of Console Gaming Cliches

Having played most of these games, I find this list extremely funny.

From someone that doesn't play RPGs, this list is pretty funny.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

Thinking With The Wrong Head (Hiro Rule)
No matter what she's accused of doing or how mysterious her origins are, the hero will always be ready to fight to the death for any girl he met three seconds ago.
Cubic Zirconium Corollary
The aforementioned mysterious girl will be wearing a pendant that will ultimately prove to be the key to either saving the world or destroying it.

Awesome.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

Yeah, I'm curious which game he is talking about too.

I have noticed though that those trends are mostly typical of Square games, and Japanese RPG's. For example, Icewind Dale or Knights of the Old Republic contain none of these cliches.

This isn't out of one game, these span all different types of RPG's.

Just curious, and no offense, but is English your primary language? You don't use much punctuation, and your signature is in a different language.

english is not my primary language and i dont care to use much punctuation when writing informally, but when i write an article or some essay type thing, i use it then. about the signature think thats not in my language. actually i am really interested in elvish, that what you see written there!

I had a feeling it was elvish.

Are you SURE you aren't an elf? Because that would be SO cool.

calm down, elves are just made up, as all of the middle earth by j.r.r tolkien, great writer. He made the elvish ,entish and the dwarven language.

Lol, I know, I was kidding. I have read (and enjoyed) the trilogy as well (although it is TECHNICALLY 5 books).

LOL... For such a rings fan, you should know this!

The hobbit is not a Lord of the Rings book.. it is a prequel.

Fellowship of the ring is 2 books, halfway through the book it says "book 2"
Towers is 1 book (I think)
Return is 2 books as well, as it says about halfway through the book "Book 2"

well i know that! but as i have seen all the extended editions of lotr, the fellowship, the two towers and the return of the king are composed on one book . it would not have made any sense if it would have been 2 books for fellowship
2 books for two towers and
2 books for return of the king.

I think that it would be funny if someone made a game in like RPGmaker that EVERYTHING on this list happened in succession.
