PS3 shortages are in the works

I bet that these shortages are on purpose...

Shortages build anticipation and demand for the PS3, like the PS2. Sony had plenty of time up till now to get enough units made, unless the cell power is on shortage.

I can get one easily thanks to my job. lol.

I doubt the Cell Processor is in shortage being that the PS3 was designed around the Cell meaning Sony designed the Cell Processor way before PS3, come to think of it the Cell was being developed before Dual core processors were a reality and now Dual core are being rolled out by the masses. Yeah its all Hype people want what they cant get.

Wow, quite a few New Jersey natives around here. I swear 10% of the tech forums around are run us.....just an observation. Anyhow, the shortage though on purpose obviously to me is extremely annoying, given Sony's last delay. Too bad I don't have Haggard's job though.

Sony is only sending 400,000 consoles to the US, opposed to Nintendo sending 4 Million to the Tri-State Area.
