I think Sony screwed this one. The PSP's new firmware enables PDA like functionality for the device.

So the PSP becomes less and less a portable gaming machine. Nice work Sony. I like this quote from Slashdot.

The only reason I'd buy a PSP is so that I could play SNES ROMs on it.

Didn't buy one and wouldnt buy one. Mostly because my friend has one and has had to take it back 3 times and so not all that reliable. Plus, memory cards cost way too much in my oppinion

I'd rather get a Gameboy SP than a PSP. I've played someone's PSP that had GTA on it. It was alright, I guess. The PSP case-holder looks like somebody's glasses case.
