Help adding belkin f5d8503 v6 drivers to ubuntu 10.10

hey after feeling to try linux for the first time ive run into a problem my usb isnt natively supported and the below is apparently ment to help:

First off, what do you mean by "my usb"? Your USB ...what? Chipset? Flash drive? Network adapter, optical drive, hub, what??

Can you post your system (hardware) specifications? Also, it *might* be useful to post the output of the "lsusb" command.
