Xbox problems......again!!!

Yeah well the other day I had a power surge go through my street and it messed up my router and I had to get another one. And when I did I was trying to get on LIVE and it kept giving me that damn no network cable connected BS. So it turns out that the surge went through my router and through that to my xbox. So I called xbox and since no warranty (voided) I cant send it in. But any way I was thinking about getting a wireless adapter. Anyone think that will work?

Chances are if the wired does not work, the wireless wont work.
but that's just a guess.

Yeah i know its just my sorry attempt to cover the fact i have to start saving again. But oh well I can still play games. Just not on LIVE.

The wireless should work, being you plug it into the USB Port in the back of the Xbox, It probably fried the Network card.

Yeah thats what i was thinking i just wasnt sure if it was just the USB. So now all i have to save up for is a wireless adapter and a wireless router.

Oh damn, Sucks you have to save up for it. Your looking at like 145-75 dollars, depending on what router you get.

Yeah i know i think im just going to save up for a new 360 and just have this one. For what reason i dont know. It breaks on me like every other month.
