If I wait a while, I could just go to the dollar theater...but I never go to movies anyway...I'm antisocial and just wait for the DVD, and get it if I heard it's worth seeing.

I think that tag line is a bit old. Now it is 10.50 to see a movie.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

Jeez, I don't even know how much it costs out here. I get to the movies so rarely that when I do I'm so grateful I just hand them my wallet.

I don't go to see movies at the theatre that much. I feel that it is just way to overpriced. Much easier to rent or buy the DVD and just watch it in the comfort of my own home.

It's $9.50 here. I only go if it's something I really want to see. Or if my son makes me take him.

When I was in the States, I went to the movies maybe 4 times a week! And while I was in between projects of work, that I had more time, I'd take the day off and go to matinee, paid half price and skeak into 3 movies the same afternoon. Only once I got confused about the story line of 2 of the movies... But now, for 5 buck you can become a memeber of Netflix, and have one different movie everyday... It's worth waiting for the DVD!

It's up to $11 now in most theaters in Hawaii. Prolly pretty damn expensive in California too.

About $10.50 here at the moment, and I reckon it's more expensive further into LA

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

Movie prices are acting like gas prices...way too expensive and change every day/week...I wonder if they're somehow connected...

It is $9 for fullprice, $7.50 for matinee here. GEESH! Then, don't even TRY to buy a popcorn and soda. You can easily shell out twice as much for goodies! I like the carry a big purse and pack it full. Smile

Some of the theaters here charge $12.00 admission. I only go on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when it's $5.00

I don't know about where you live but all the AMCs around here (but not any other chain) will let you bring in outside food so long as it's nothing excessively complicated and you don't make a mess. That's one of the reasons I like that chain, sometimes I want to have lunch with my movie and they let me do that :3

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?
