I'm in love with the games Rockstar puts out...Midnight Club series and GTA series mostly. What does anyone else think of them, this is if you have played them...don't put any bull shit on this thread. (This is mostly directed to Nay'nay or whatever and princess rb)

I also love them. They had the balls to make the 1st GTA, a game that was one of a kind when it came out. Then they had the balls to make a game that was extremely controversial in GTA3, then took it one step farther in Vice City. It seems like they just keep stepping up the bar with every game they release, especially Manhunt. But I guess our opinions are biased Sam, after all we both love GTAWink

GTA games are awesome, and have the highest replay value of any game I have ever played in my whole life. GTA3 is...I think...two years old now? But if I'd play it I'd still have as much fun as I did when it first came out. Same goes for Vice City.

Well, the only games I really know by these guys is GTA. And, wait, did they do Max Payne? I think they did. That was good too.

It was so freaking fun! I was so excited to see them! I'm still excited even though it was a while ago. But Dennis from The (international) Noise Conspiracy signed my cast/brase thing and my CD! I love that guy, he's so nice...we had some great conversations.

Rockstar's latest game for 2005 fall, is a game called "Bully". You're a kid in a big disiplinary school and you get to cause all kinds of trouble in bathrooms, classrooms, hallways, school yards, etc. They say you can go outside the school grounds later in the game too.

Keep in mind, Rockstar North (GTA) isn't developing this project, but that doesn't mean it can't be good.

Go to ign.com for details, or rockstargames.com.

Rockstar also has The Warriors, based on the movie coming out, where you and your gang have to survive a long trek through a gang infested city looking to do you in.

Another rockstar game that hasn't been mentioned here was State of Emergency. Now it definitely wasn't their best game, but it was a lot of fun nonetheless. The entire point of the game is mission-based violence on massive levels, it's like a cartoonish version of Manhunt only with much more people. It's a bargain buy right now, so anyone that likes games like that give it a go, it's a lot of fun.

Rockstar is also owned by Take Two Interactive, which have been responsible for quite a few good games on their own, including the ESPN 2K series of sports games most recently. Take Two has been taking risks for years, dating back to a game I used to play for the PC called Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller. Most people gave this game bad reviews, but I really liked it. It was one of the first games to feature real stars as voice talent, with Dennis Hopper being the biggest name in the game. The game dealt in sex, drungs, prostitution, nudity, and was quite controversial for its time.
