Nintendo Old Fri Jul 28, 2006 5:40:13 PM #19617 Perm Link
Ok, here's the thought. When argueing on the voting topic with Tornado (much respect) I realized that Nintendo is a g-d damn juggernaut. Now im not saying they're g-ds but in the gaming industry they've always been there. Sony was there on and off with good and bad ... and worse games. But the only thing that most people complained about with Nintendo (if there was something to complain about) was the ages men't for the games. They've never complained about crappy graphics, gameplay, system durablitiy (i don't even know if thats a word but you know what i mean Razz) From NES to the upcoming Wii, they're always in the shadows with great surprises with the future. They're not always in the spot light but I really think its time that they are going to be the G-ds in the gaming industry. 1.PS3 too expensive 2.Xbox 360 too long to develop and too early launch 3. The Wii is cheap and the new gaming system will be a new and fun experience to veteren gamers. Think about it, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Conkers Bad Fur Day (had to mention it one of my favorite games of all time). Nintendo has just set new standards with all types of gameplay. I mean the gamecube was for younger ages but when they wanted some bloody and chilling, they did it! (RE:4) All I'm trying to say is that Nintendo is going to be the head honchoes of the industry when the Wii comes out. This is just my opinion share your own I'd like to hear some other opinons.

Nintendo = Least Expensive...

That alone will sell many consoles.

I'll be buying a Nintendo Wii because it is cheap.

Also, the games look very interesting.

I do hope Nintendo is in a better position with the new console than they were with the Gamecube.

I don't see why it matters. The Gamecube was so cheap to make that even when they were sold at $99 Nintendo made money on them.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

It matters because of the third party support. It was lacking on the Gamecube.

I had plenty of gaems on my Gamecube. Mutliplatform, no. But that is why the GC was so cheap.
