I can't believe it took me this long to get this game.

I think the animation is gay. I hate it.

Is it just me or were Final Fantasy VII's graphics more... shiny?

It is really hard to find your way around at first.

I'm just starting to get into it... a little. I got it for Christmas and I've spent scarcely three hours on it because I'm more interested in playing a generic racing game called Power Drome.

Actually I played for longer than that training up my puny little characters to level ten but then I accidentally stumbled into a boss fight and died thus losing two hours of gameplay.

Does anyone know if this game gets any better?

Beatrix is smoking hot and there's some resolution of character's various storylines which is something we don't always see in FF games (IE: Whatever happened to Yuffie and her village? Why did everyone just stand around like "whatever!" when Tifa was killed?). In the end you find out the entire thing occured in a dreamworld and the main character was actually keanu reeves...oh wait, that's FFX.

FFIX is definately fun. I liked it a lot better than VIII. Vivi ruled, end of story.

If you just gave me spoilers for Final Fantas VII: AC without a warning I'm never talking to you again.

Ever.

I liked FFIX a lot, it's my 3rd favorite FF, behind FF6 and FF4. The world was huge, there mini-games were the best IMO (though the card game had some confusing rules), and there is plenty of character customization with learning permanent abilities off the equipped items.

Oh...

Then you must mean Aeris. They cared when she died! I replayed it with different characters just to see their reactions. Huge Grin
Tifa cried, Yuffie cried, Caith Sith cried, Barret looked like he was gonna hit Cloud, Vincent just shook his head, and Red XIII howled... or cried in other words.

My mother cried when Aeris died because she'd named her after me. lawlz

Nah, I meant yuffie. She said she had left her village on a quest and shit. I think they needed paprika for a tuna caserole. Anyhow, she never went back so as far as we know they never got the Paprika, or had to go to the farmers market and hope for the best. Maybe they had Hamburger Helper.

Yuffie left her village to collect materia and sell them so that Wutai would have another source of funds and wouldn't be forced to be a tourist/vacation spot for the bastards that conquered them in the first place.

I'm on disc three and suddenly I can no longer enter several towns and caves because there is a rock blocking the entrance...

I know a couple of those places have side quest givers in them (the coffee man for example).

Am I going to have to return to a previous save or will it be okay if I go to Memoria and exit again...?

I had a sanction against me playing this game for the longest time. Then, like last year(maybe two years ago), I caved and bought it. I have to say that I loved it quite a bit, and it's in my top five Final Fantasies.

the best ff game ever had to be either ff 7 or ff 5 ( i think 5 is the one with the jobs and such , correct?)
but yeah i think either one of those two were the best.
I would include 8 but it was just too damn long.

All I can say is that you shouldn't waste your time trying to grind all the way to Lv.99. The game's easily beat with most characters around Lv.72. Christ, you don't even need to use your time on the Chocobo Hot-n-Cold minigame to get the best weapons(though you certainly could if you enjoy it). Vivi + Flare = win for the latter half of the game.

My vocabulary is di...di...dimi...dimini..........killing itself.
