Saria watched as Link left. Her eyes filled with tears she figured he would leave someday but she didn't expect this so soon.

Saria passed the temple someone's screaming drowning out the cries of joy that were going on in her memories.

She was losing not only her best friend but her potential love.

Her smile froze as Link fought with her to see who was stronger, a hylian boy who was adopted to korkis or Korkis. She suddenly felt wetness dripping down her cheeks from the memory. "we're family!" She remembered herself screaming and running in the middle of them getting hit in the back of the head and neck.

My mistake i didn't know to be in love you had to fight to have the upperhand.

She remembered waking up and running towards Mido and asking where Link was. " He left already..." He answered.

She ran towards the entrance and stopped at the second rope hiding herself till she saw Link, "Leaving already...?" She asks, stepping out to a surprised Link. Her hate and anger glazed over with warmth and sweetness. Link turns, looking at her. "Saria..." He says quietly.

She hands him the fairy ocarina. "Please take care of this link" She smiles as he takes it. He backs away slightly and runs away. She tries to hold back tears as she puts her hand over her heart.

She frowned and her dreams converted to reality. She was standing in front of Link. He looked at her with much surprise. She tried to stop herself from feeling emotion. She smiled instead.

She handed him the medallion for him to leave she smiled as he was trapped in a blue light and carried upwards.

She looked at the spot he was a moment ago and felt pools of tears clawing at her eyes.
