The performance is what I would come to expect from a 955X chipset board. 2 PCIE x16 slots and they can be crossfired (one slot is x4 wires, but it will still work). The problem that I encountered is the sound card drivers suck. I installed the drivers off the CD and found that the volume control didn't work. I went to Intel's site to update the drivers and found that the new drivers don't multiplex the sound through the correct channels (IE: Testing the front channel sends sound through the center). I disabled the onboard sound and went with my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz... Nice hardware sound.
