Evan Almighty

So, Evan Almighty opens tomorrow. Is anyone going to see it? It looks like it might be funny. I haven't decided if I'll go or not.

Looks stupid and I hope it bombs.

I am waiting for this one to come out on DVD. It does look funny but just don't think it is good enough to head to the theatre.

I have to admit the commercials and trailer look mediocre at best. I hope it does well.

I can't believe they even thought this movie would open near the first. Carrell is no Carrey.

I thought it looked decently funny, but not funny enough for me to pay $10 to see. Ah well.

Aw I love Steve Carrell... but it's true, I didn't really see any convincing scenes. Nothing that cracks me up like his Anchorman or The Office roles.

It wasn't worth $10. We went to see it for $4 and it was worth getting out of the heat and being mildly entertained. Nothing close to the first one and it tried a little too hard...

Thanks for the information, happy! Now I won't have to waste my money on it. Looks like we'll wait until it comes out on pay-per-view.

All I have to say.

It's true I began a Carrey fan late and never looked back.

I remember watching him back in the day on In Living Color... he is very funny, reminds me of Robin Williams with all that energy and split personality. All my favorite comedians seem to be Canadian too...he is, Mike Myers, Will Sasso, John Candy... I just like Steve's brand of humor lately, kind of "doesn't get it" and naive... but I don't think either is better than the other, in my opinion.

I saw the movie today. It actually wasn't that bad.

It wasnt that bad not worth going to the Cinema to see it.
Bruce almighty was better by far.
