Pirates of the Caribbean III Opens Tonight!

Who's going? I think we'll make it out tomorrow night because we have a standing date with friends on Fridays. I can't wait to see it. It sounds, and looks great, from the previews I've seen!

I haven't heard anything yet on this movie since it's release. I really want to see this one but it was the Shrek 3 that we seen this weekend. Did you end up seeing it? I am really curious on if it is as good as the first two were? Thanks

Yeah, we went to see it during the Saturday matinee. I really liked it, but it definitely left it wide open for another one. And, the ending isn't what you expect, so you're left wondering how they're going to tie it up with the next one. Of course, I guess how this one does in the box office will depend on whether they make the next.

There was a lot of action, some scenes that my kids weren't too thrilled with - like the scene at the beginning where they're hanging people, including a little boy. But, I thought it was good, quite funny in parts, and very adventure filled. I think you'll like it if you liked the first two. Worth the money we spent.

I saw it today. It was crazy good.

Thanks, I will have to see this one. Not to sure I really want my boys to see the hanging in the beginning. I might just have to promise to take them to a different movie instead.

I made sure I told my boys that the people weren't really hurt, that they didn't really die. They seemed okay after that, but I think my 6yo covered his eyes during most of that scene.
