gamecube worth getting

No i dont think it is, its the worst system out there there, mayb theres a few games i like out there for it but the system its self sucks ass

It's a matter of opinion. I have all systems, so I don't give a damn. They all are good. Notice you said they didn't have games you like. That's pure opinion. I'm a fan of those Mario games, so I'm good for GC. =P Xbox has the least amount of games I like, but it is still an awesome machine. ^_^ PS2 is good as well, I have the most games for that. So it's my favorite, because I play it the msot often...and all the Silent Hill games are for it so....yeah

GC is worth getting, but only if oyu like the games for it. If you hate those games, why waste the money?

The GC IS only 100 dollars now, so it's well worth it. But, if you hate all the games, don't waste you're time on it.

Yes I would say it is because it has some good games on it like super smash bros. and Zelda and it only 100 dollars.

Hold your horses there. First off, it's all a matter of opinion as to who thinks a game is good or not. You might think one game is good, which I think is the worst game I've ever played. Opinion. Secondly, the Nintendo systems rely heavily on first party support which I do not approve of, and which is why the GC library is miniscule compared to the other 2 big ones. Thirdly, why the fuck does it matter if it's portable or not? Fourthly(shrug), durability of the system is proven no doubt about it...but the GC discs are flimsy, and have a lower storage capacity, which in turn reduces the quality of games during ports from other systems. In addition to that, the new disc size is a TREMENDOUS burden on publishers because it's not a standard DVD, and they have to buy the new equipment to actually make the games.

Nintendo ticks me off because they require you to spend alot of money to really enjoy their games. They have no online connectivity...but you can get several GC's, several TVs, several controllers, and several game discs THEN you have a party. Meanwhile, you and your friends are broke. With the new game Final Fantasy: Crystal Cronicals, each player needs one GBA and one GBA-GC link cable. =P

look how about you all just shut up and buy a gamecube i have one its the best system ever. and besides they fired the owner and got a new one so they're making new and better games more violent instead of kiddy. there coming out with 12 new games two of them are kiddy but the rest are teen and mature. and the new owner is making the company and the system kick ass now... so get a gamecube dammit.
