Little Miss Sunshine

I recently saw the movie Little Miss Sunshine? It's out on DVD now... what do you think of that movie did you love it or think it was overrated. It collected a lot of oscar buzz.

I liked it. And there were parts of it, like the VW van only going in reverse, that were from the writers "real life."

I actually really enjoyed it! I wish I hadn't heard so much about it, though, before we rented it. I had *really* high expectations. And, while I did enjoy it, I wasn't prepared for just *how* dark it really was. I love Steve Carrell, and expected something different from him. However, overall, I thought it was great.

It was entertaining. I didn't see the big deal. It was another one of those movies that's really about nothing.

And movies and t.v. shows about nothing, seem to get the loudest attention. ? Seinfeld was one of the highest rated shows and what was it about...NOTHING! Although the soup nazi, sponge-worthy, 'the dingo must've taken your baby' and the puffy shirt, got some of my biggest laughs.

Seinfeld was one of the MOST over rated TV shows of all time. And the movie was actually about a family coming together, blah, blah, blah.

Nah, Friends is over-rated, Seinfeld is just perfectly rated by most people.

I enjoyed the movie. I saw it on DVD and found it a nice little story. Maybe it got too much attention for what it was, but I tohought it was nice. On the other hand, Seinfeld was funny most of the time, but I actually started to watch it after 4 seasons or so, and was never too attached to it.

I haven't seen it yet but I hear that it's really good.........but that movie seems really short and childish since it's basically about a little girl who wants to enter a pageant and her family
