Hitman the movie

It's definite that there will be a Hitman movie. But they were looking for the wrong guy to play him. First, there was Vin Diesel. I don't think he fits the role. Now they're talking about some crappy actor from Deadwood. Am I the only one who thinks that Jason Statham (The Transporter) is the obvious best choice?! I really wonder if they even considered him.

He does fit the role well.

He most certainly fits the role, but my question is - Does he fit any other role? He's been in the same move like six times with different titles, don't get me wrong they're not bad movies, but variety isn't necessarily a bad thing

Most of the movies he's done, it is pretty much the same character. A lot of his earlier stuff is different though. I definitely wouldn't have chosen the clown that they picked. He's some guy from Deadwood. He doesn't look like he would fit the role at all.

Jason would be great in this movie... Although, he is a bit too over the top, and perhaps he would not fit, as Hitman has always been a stealthy game.
