Ultra Violet

Because one of my favorite movies is the Fifth Element we rented this piece of shit the other day... I could barely sit through it. As if it wasn't annoying enough to watch another movie where Milla Jovovich is invincible. The story and dialogue didn't make much sense either.

It was like some cheesy rip off Underworld/Resident Evil/Aeon Sux

Compared to Equilibrium, Wimmer's first film, UltraViolet pales in comparison. There are a few decent firefights, but they don't last long enough. The overall look of the film is colorful and interesting, and I did like this slightly better than Aeon Flux, though there's room for much improvement.

Action fans who don't mind style over substance might want to give this a view.

Aeon Flux made a helluva lot more sense than UltraViolet. But l did like the marble men. Those were cool.
