X-Box 360 i made the jump Old Tue Jul 18, 2006 2:18:38 PM #19195 Perm Link
So i caved in and purchased an Xbox 360 last week during my vacation.
1st of all i purchased the premium 360 yup i dished $400 plus Tax
2nd Purchased the Charge and Play Kit another $20 Bucks
3rd Purchased the Intercooler add on ( I heard these thing get Hot quickly and it is true after 20 min of use i felt the heat) another $20 Bucks
4th i purchased a game Call of Duty 2 another $60 Bucks
so ok i get home and i think cool i can hook up the 360 to my brand new 19" Samsung Flat panel Display only 1 problem i cant connect the damn thing to it
so i head out and look for a DVI connector for the 360, come to find out the 360 does not support DVI but they sell the VGA connector or cable so i buy it
yup another $40 bucks for this thing, so by the time i actually got a chance to sit down and play i blew over $540 Bucks. close to a PS3 price
Now after all that was it worth it?, i say yeah but i cant shake that wallet rape sensation, all in all the 360 is a great system ( so far ) it lives up to the hype and the graphics are unbelievable, now Microsoft will kiss my ass because i will not spend another dime for anything else and im buying used games.
I am curious to hear from other people who purchased a 360 so post and let me know what you bought and was it worth it.

:-P

Don't feel any need for one. Also, saving money for Wii and PS3 (currently at $374).

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

I'll probably buy the Wii if I buy any new console.

Nice setup... The Xbox is still too expensive.
