All in all, they didn't do too bad a job in this movie. It was much better then Batman Beyond (George Clooney was the worst Batman ever) and I think Christian Bale's performance as Batman rivaled that of Michael Keaton's. Christian Bale looks more like the Batman from the t.v. show, he's got the whole tall, dark, and handsome look that is so very Bruce Wayne. I was a little dissapointed with the underdeveloped Batmobile and I thought that Katie Holmes could really have used a bra, but that's about it. ^_^

I agree that Batman & Robin that was the worst ever in terms of a comicy looking city and the terrible acting that Clooney did (always looking at the floor, terrible dialog). Which TV show are you referencing? 'The Batman' cartoon looks just like the new Batman Begins.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

I agree that this movie was much better than the previous few offerings from the world of Batman, as well as your pegging Christian Bale as the best Batman since Keaton. The movie on a whole was excellent, and it was the Batman movie I've watned to see for a long time, mostly sicne the original Batman. Even Batman Returns has some moments that I was just totally disappointed with, but it was still better than anything after that, until now. I actually thought the concept they went with for the Batmobile was pretty interesting, altho it wasn't the typical "cool car" we've come to expect from the Batmobile in the past. They made Gotham look amazing in this movie, even though I thought it might have been even a little "too" futuristic. I also saw this in IMAX, so I got a little more from the movie than most moviegoers. Overall, an incredible experience and I'm looking forward to the next one with Bale as the Bat.

Is this a repeat of the incident with Teen Titans?

Batman Begins is a great film starring Christian Bale (Equilibrium). Dark storyline, without all the colorful crap from the two most recent Batman films. Bale played a great part.

Batman Begins focuses first on how Batman develops his skills as well as why he's doing it. The film is also very much about stealth and catching the enemies off guard. Even so, the entire second half of the film is all about Batman in the city, hunting criminals.

Is it better than the first Batman? I'd say it's a tie. The first one is a classic thanks to Jack Nicholson's Joker, and Keaton's good performance. Still, I prefer the darker story, Batman Begins. It's a very slick film, with great style and mood by Nolan/director.

Goyer, who wrote Batman Begins, kicked ass here. (I can't believe he was the guy who wrote Blade Trinity. I loved Blade 1 and 2, but 3 sucked and abandoned the focus of the first two.) This is a great script, topped with top notch acting.

Overall, Batman Begins is highly recommended if you enjoyed the first Batman 1989. The fight scenes could've been shot better, but it was mostly intentional, due to the stealthy movements of Batman. When Batman freefalls and opens up his wings, man, that kicked ass. Oh, and the batmobile chase scene rocked, much like this film.

Fans of dark heroes, Blade, Neo, Hellboy, Darth Vader, etc, check it out.

Rating: 9/10. Must see. Don't be fooled by the other films in the series. This is a new take on Batman not to be missed by fans.

I thought that this was the way that batman movie should be done. Batman in my opinion should always be a person just on the line between good and evil, fights for light but uses dark methods. Gotham should be a city in despair and darkness.

And Katie Holmes had a bra on most o the movie, her breasts are high and firm anyway..........lol jk

Her nipples were visible through her shirt so much through the movie I thought if I leaned forward they'd poke one of my eyes out.

I seriously didn't even want to see this version of Batman since all the others seemed to disappoint me and leave me bored with the whole story, but this was very different, I actually want to buy it when it comes out. It's definately a movie I can watch over and over again and never get tired of.

Thanks to Aron he showed me where it was hidden, turns out i was an idiot and put spaces between Alexie Di Onie, and not ALexieDiOnie, stupid me i feel so foolish. But this Batman is totally on my must buy DVD's. Fantastic Four could have been a little longer and better, but what can ya do? Hopefully they will improve with squeal.

I see now that the circumstances of one's birth is irrelevent. It is wat you do with the gift of life that makes you who you are.
